A murdered Boston Police Detective’s spirit remains earth-bound, determined to find his killer, and in the process aids his former partner and best friend (the only one who can see or hear him) in solving unsolvable cases in extraordinary ways.
If Bobby Cohen knew that today would be the last day of his life, he might have done things
differently. But starting the day with a broadsword, in Elizabethan garb, at the bottom of a dogpile with his partner, three uniforms, and a homicidal perp was not surprising for this not-so-by-the-book Boston detective. The reaming by his captain for “destroying city property,” “endangering the public,” and on, and on (and on) was the norm. What wasn’t the norm were the two bullets he took to the chest later that day. That’ll change your life. Or end it. The thing was, neither Bobby, nor his partner Michael Taylor realized he was dead... at the time.
And, in the land of the living, for Michael, being the only guy who can see or talk to his dead partner who tends to show up anytime... and anywhere is no picnic. But there’s a cop killer on the loose, and a witness in the wind.
When the violent attacks and multiple homicides begin to pile up, they uncover a conspiracy that runs a lot deeper than Bobby’s murder. Teaming up is the only answer. After all, they’re still partners, right? With a big advantage...
